Modica – Sicily

IMG_9789 1Modica is the name of the company we work for, allowing us to work remotely from anywhere, so when we found it was also the name of a beautiful city in Sicily it seemed only sensible that we include it in our itinerary.

So glad we did, it was beautiful and it was also the home of a delicious treat that even got the boys excited to visit 🙂 -read more and see our pics by clicking on the photo or this text.

Malta

If you are wanting to get away from the cold grey winter then Malta is a Perfect choice, warm weather, blue Skies, crystal clear ocean, stunning scenery, incredible history with temples older than the Pyramids…

Next we have to visit Malta in the Summer…

Ostuni

IMG_7439Ostuni is so beautiful that it almost feels unreal, you walk around in awe of every white archway, every white winding alleyway and every set of winding white steps, it’s the perfect romantic get a away, it’s a fairytale city.

You could imagine Dr Seuss characters surprising you on every turn…

We fell in love with Ostuni all over again, check out our photos..be blinded by all the brilliant white streets..

Durres

IMG_2082Durres, Albania wasn’t my favourite place, after going into the City for the day I was glad that I had booked us to stay by the beach.  The Restaurants that were open were really good and really cheap, you could feed all four of us for around 20 Euros, so we did eat out a lot during this week.  The best bit about staying here were definitely the sunsets, check out our photos….

Tirana

IMG_6628We didn’t do a lot in Tirana, apart from stay warm and try to get rid of cold bugs, but we did go to the TEG shopping centre to stock up on warm clothes ready for winter catching up with us and rode the pretty awesome cable car ride that was longer and higher than expected.
