Sliema

We arrived into Malta on the 17th Dec with a definite plan of what we were going to get the boys for Christmas only to find out that everywhere that sold those items were sold out and wouldn’t be in until mid Jan…so we had to think of another plan, for Christmas day anyways….

We did two days solid shopping in Valletta and picked up a few bits then on day 3 we took the ferry from Valletta to Sliema and headed for The Point Shopping Centre.

It’s a really nice shopping centre with everything from Bhs, Marks & Spencer’s, Debenham’s to Next and Zara and more…I was in shopping heaven, doesn’t take much to please me 🙂

We still at this stage didn’t come back with much, but we did find a few cool bits and we were happy overall.

Sliema is definitely worth heading to, the ferry was a nice little 5 min ride for about 1.50 Euros per person, the streets are filled with shops the front is filled with cafe’s and restaurants…the views to Valletta are stunning.
